We get many enquiries for wedding photography in Hvar, as it is a seriously beautiful place to have your wedding abroad at. This year there’s one question in specific coming in regularly - where to have a wedding ceremony now instead of stunning and popular Sveti Marak courtyard which will be closed for a detailed restoration and for quite some time? Here is the perfect answer!
Last season has been an adventurous and a great one. I skipped on blogging about some earlier awards, getting myself info working on weddings for as much as I could. But today we received some new awards.
The results of this year’s first round of Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) contest are in and one of my wedding photos won new award! You can see the photo in the post. Congratulations to all of my colleagues who placed with their photos in this round. You can see the whole winning gallery at the official WPJA website.
The thing is it’s not so much about the awards themselves, as it’s about what’s behind them. Fearless Photographers, ISPWP and WPJA are very significant and influential wedding photography societies and all of them hold quarterly contests for their members among which are the world’s best wedding photographers of our time.
I won 3 new awards in International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP) Spring 2015 contest!!! Once again it was a great feeling to be in a position of finding my name among so many other talented and famous names and photographers I admire.
Fearless Conference came to Europe two years ago so it’s not that new. And right on time for that first conference which was held in Amsterdam, Nikola decided to go and visit, learn and find some inspiration. Later, seeing from his point of view, the conference succeeded in doing exactly that for him. So he visited the second year and the third year, this year, I came along to see, hear, feel the magic. And I was surprised by the things I’ve had learnt.
I'm so happy to win another award from awesome International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP) in their Fall 2014 contest!
The olive wood has amazing, incredible patterns so each USB flash drive is different just like the weddings I work on – each has a story, a history and two people who love each other...
